Thanks Friend

Snow days are good for something!  I have had lots of time to play in my crap room so I am posting another card that I made yesterday.  I played along with the sketch challenge on SCS yesterday and this is what I came up with.  I clear embossed the tiny hearts background stamp by hero arts on my pink card base then used some fun paper by Basic Grey's Hey Girl line.  I stamped my sentiment from Simon Says Stamp (square sayings) onto my patterned paper which I had die cut using my spellbinders dies, then popped that up over the banner strip.

Here is the link to the challenge on Splitcoaststampers  sc472

Clean and simple card class

I wanted to share my next card class that I will be teaching at Scrapdoodles.  Spring is in the air (or at least that is what the weather man says, lol!) so it is time for some butterflies! Anyone that know me, knows that I love butterflies!! Anyway, my next card class samples are done and I am ready to show you how to get a little inky and use some fun new products (to me). I have discovered that it is OK to get inky and still stay true to my clean and simple style. Here are the cards that we will be making in class:

Call the store at 540 548 3788 to register or stop by in person! I am offering this class on 2 seperate days, so pick the day that works best for you!

First Blog Post!

Well I have finally taken the plunge.  I'm jumping on the band wagon!   I have wanted to start a blog for a while, and just never got around to it.  But today is the day!  Not sure how often I will be posting, but I hope I can get the hang of it lol!

Here is a quick litle card that I made the other night.  Just testing this blog thing out!
