Ombre Embossing

Woo hoo!  I am back with another card for today's online summer card camp 2 class.  This time I am trying Amber Kemp-Gerstel's technique of ombre embossing!  I have never tried that before, but I love how it looks.  I started with a large sentiment from Papertrey Ink and used 3 different coloured embossing powders from various companies (see below) over the image that I had stamped in versamark.  I kept this very clean and simple, but I like how it turned out.  I added a touch of brown glitter trim to make it pop a little!  Again, sorry for the bad lighting.  It is 10.30pm and I am in the basement in my crap room:(

Thanks for looking and your kind comments.

  1. This is gorgeous! I've never used this stamp but you've totally inspired me :)

  2. Perfect technique for that stamp and perfectly done!

  3. Your ombre embossing is perfect. I have that sentiment and now I want to dig it out and try. Thank you for the inspiration.
